| Location |
|
| This year, the workshop will be held at the
Catamaran Hotel and Resort
in Mission Beach. The resort is ideally located
on the narrow strand separating the San Diego Bay from the
Pacific Ocean. It directly
faces the bay and all our meeting rooms open right onto the
beach, with the ocean just one block away. You can watch a short hotel video
(sorry, massage not included with registration).
Mission Beach is one of San Diego's most vibrant neighborhoods,
and many restaurants, coffeshops, bars, and other shops are just
steps away. Also starting from the resort are several scenic
walks around the bay and along the ocean. Canoe, boats, and bikes,
can be rented on-site. While January weather is unpredictable,
beautiful warm and sunny days typically abound.

|
|
| In case you drive, you can look for parking near the hotel, probably more likely to find something near Pacific Beach Dr. and Bayard than next to the hotel entrance, just make sure you obey the street signs. Alternatively you can park at the hotel. Hotel guests are charged $13 per day. Visitors pay $25, but you can go to our registration desk after you park, get a sticker, and pay $13 (per exit) upon leaving the lot. |
